Bring Satisfaction in Your Life

Life is a beautiful journey that you only get the pleasure to enjoy once. For this reason, it’s important that you maximize your time on this earth by ensuring that you enjoy every single moment you can.

It’s the little things in life that bring you the most joy. Some people believe that your level of personal happiness is dependent upon the actions of others. While contributions from your loved ones certainly can boost your spirits, the key to everyday satisfaction rests within your own hands.

Try these four strategies to bring more satisfaction into your life each day:

1.     Spend time alone with your partner.

Love is one of the most potent prescriptions for happiness. Luckily, it’s free, enjoyable for both parties and readily available! Take advantage of the wonderful person you have by your side and spend as much quality time together as possible.

If your schedules allow, plan a weekly date night even if you live together. Being in a lively atmosphere where the crowd just disappears will bring you back to your very first days of falling in love. And remember: Make an effort to look good for your big night.

While it is important to make time for your significant other, it’s also essential to your personal contentment to ensure that you have an identity outside of your relationship. Devote time to yourself, your private hobbies, and your friends on a regular basis to maximize your satisfaction in everyday life. more »

Have Thanksgiving Everyday

Attract blessings into your life.  Why wait until Thanksgiving to express your gratitude? Have Thanksgiving everyday.  You have the luxury of living your joyous life every single day of the year. So make it a point to recognize your blessings and remind yourself that showing gratitude for all you already have only does more to attract further blessings into your life.

1.   You’ll be thankful for the little things.

    • When you’re in a positive mindset, you’ll learn to appreciate the little things. The sweetest blessings come in the smallest forms. Once you learn to love, recognize, and be thankful for the little things in life, your quality of life will increase because you’ll be aware of how fortunate you really are.

    I Find Happiness Everywhere

I find happiness everywhere I look.

When I look around me, I see happiness. Even when there are trying times, there is always happiness to be found. Every cloud really does have a silver lining, and I take the time to find it.

Happiness is a state of mind. If I expect to see happiness, I do. Unlike too many others who expect to see sadness, I expect happiness and joy. Because I look for good things, I see good things. Sadness has no place in my life.

My mind is focused on things that make me happy. Joy can be simple or complex, but it is always available to everyone, including me.

Even though things might be imperfect, there is value in every situation. There is always something to be happy about. Even breathing is a gift, because it shows I am still alive. There is happiness in that gift for anyone who is willing to see it. more »

    Improve Your Mood through Nature

Everyone gets a little down from time to time, but you can avoid letting that control you. Nature is one of the best mood boosters available. The beauty of your surroundings can help you feel happy and whole again. Focus on the cycle of life and the beauty of your surroundings.

Go outside and take a deep breath. Enjoy the smell of plants and flowers. Stare into the sky and listen to the chirp of the birds in the trees. All of those things are excellent ways to feel better. Live in a city? If you feel like you’re surrounded by concrete and glass, it can be hard to feel peaceful. But there’s almost certainly a city park within a short driving distance from your home where you can take the time to look for the peace you crave.

Commune with Nature for Emotional Health

When you’re looking for emotional health, keep in mind that many approaches are available. Some people attend therapy or take classes that are aimed at helping them succeed. Others meditate in a quiet place where they can be completely alone. How you use nature to improve your mood is a personal choice that only you can make.

    Reduce Stress Through Laughter

Laughter truly is the best medicine. A healthy daily dose of laughter can cut through the deepest feelings of stress and anxiety. Laughter can replace those feelings with a sense of joy that strengthens you to overcome any obstacle you face. Laughter also enhances your relationships by bringing you and the ones you love closer together.

Laughter can have positive effects on your physical health, too. Enjoying funny jokes or silly moments can help you feel more relaxed and less tense. This puts less pressure on your body’s systems and may even promote a healing response within your body.

When you’re feeling intense emotions, laughter can be a powerful tool to work through them. A healthy sense of humor acts as an emotional distraction and creates a fresh perspective on your circumstance. Laughter is often the quickest and most effective way to combat strong feelings of anger and frustration.

    Exercise to a Healthier Lifestyle

Feeling tired after a long day ?  Feeling lethargic ?  Work is demanding and work hours are getting longer.  This can be very demanding on the mind and body.  We need to take care of our mind and soul in order to live a healthier lifestyle. Exercise and a more nutritious diet can go a long way, but being active and staying in shape can take you even further.  As enjoyable as the couch potato lifestyle is, fitness can improve your life in a multitude of ways.

    Physical Benefits

Fitness will, obviously, improve your body physically. As you exercise, your body will develop tone and muscle, and it will also burn off fat. You’ll also enjoy better overall health as your body gets the extra oxygen it needs from physical activity and begins to function the way it was designed – all the way down to the cellular level.

Working out can also give you more energy. The first few days, you’ll probably feel tired immediately after the workout. But you’ll soon start to notice that you’re pumped up and more eager to go out and do something instead of plopping down on the couch.

Being fit may extend your lifespan by preventing heart conditions and other stress-related illnesses. It may also improve the quality of your golden years, because your body is in much better condition.

I Live a Healthy and Vibrant Life

I am living a vibrant and healthy life.

I live a healthy and vibrant life

I breathe in and know that my life is fit and vivacious because I make it that way.

I love feeling healthy and energetic. I can enjoy every moment of my day because I just feel good. I feel this way because I take care of myself through proper rest, nutrition, and exercise. When I take care of myself, I gain an intense energy and enthusiasm for the day and my life.

There have been times when I didn’t want to exercise, or when I chose unhealthy foods, and that’s okay. That was my yesterday; it doesn’t have to be my today.

I am strengthened and empowered when I do what I need to do to take care of myself. I feel better as my body is nourished and active — I feel alive! The positive energy within me radiates joyfully like the sun.

The sunlight shining from my smile feels like an electric current. My energy is high and I can achieve all my goals. When I am feeling low, I spend a few minutes exercising my body and mind. I then immediately feel recharged. The people around me can feel my energy. It seems that when I am a bright light, others respond positively and they, too, are more vibrant. My positive attitude is contagious!

Today I choose to nourish my body and mind so I may continue to feel healthy and alive. I am taking care of myself so I can be full of life and joy for others.

    Self-Reflection Questions:

    1. When was the last time I felt really alive?
    2. When was the last time I felt down? What will I do about it next time?
    3. What do I feel like after I exercise and take care of myself?
